Friends,
Earlier today, I spoke with a woman who had just moved from Houston to Madisonville. She moved to find herself. To leave the life in Houston that was not going in a good direction. And to find a better life for her and her daughter.
Just now, I got off of the phone with a friend. We met three days ago at a McDonald’s.
We just spent an hour or two talking about God. God’s purpose, and what is God’s direction for this young man.
We also talked about Jesus and his purpose. We talked about three of my favorite passages in the Bible: Colossians 1:15; Philippians chapter 2; Jeremiah chapter 23).
I want to point out, Jesus is eternal, he was not created. But, his physical body was created.
Jesus was put on Earth to be God in the Flesh. So, that when he was crucified, buried, and resurrected, he would pay the ransom price for our separation from God the Father.
What did God create you for?
What are you made for?
Do you know?
Have you found yourself? Have you found why and what God has ahead of you in your life?

From BibleGateway.com in New King James version:
15 [Jesus] is the [icon] of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Reconciled in Christ
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled 22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.
