It has been a long time since I posted on gun control.
I cannot find the blog I got this link from (*).
On that blog post, a distraught mother recounted her dismay at how many school shootings were caused by psychotropic drug use, and she linked to that web-site. She claimed in the high 90 percent range of the shootings were related to psychotropic drug usage.
It scared me. Not for me personally, I think it does not scare me personally, but for our children and young adults.

There are many fear mongers out there.
But, most uses of guns world wide are in self defense. In the US, over 2 million people each year use a gun in self defense. Or, they pretend to have a gun.
The BBC claims the US murder rate is excessively high, when compared to FBI data. Why? Because they know their numbers are wrong.
And they know that if you remove New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, D.C. and Philadelphia the murder rate in the US would plummet …. plummet.
Because the cities with the strictest gun control laws have the most murders.
The rest of the US has a MUCH lower crime rate than the few big cities leading the way, in politics, cultural change, and murder behavior.

Interesting post, what’s disturbing to me in this is that if these facts are know now, correct? If independent studies have been done I’m sure the government has done theirs too. So in saying this the question arises why wouldn’t they say something? Just speculating here but could it be that the true objective is not to expose the truth, but to use the truth for their own aims. It’s more about controlling the people than it is about correcting the problem. Could it be the government sees this as a way to subject the people to more gun control? Could be wrong, who knows.
