Friends,
Now NATO is warning that Russia is preparing to attack into Moldova as they try to regain territory given up after the fall of the Soviet Union.
The area of greatest concern is Trans-Dniester, I think I spelled that right.
It is a strip about 10 miles wide and about 50 miles long.
The Trans-Dniester region of Moldova, like the Crimean area, was home to many Russian military bases. So, now there are many retirees there. And there are still current military bases there.
I tried to reblog from this news site, but it didn’t work: National Post.
Do you think we should worry?
