My fellow internet pilgrims,
What would you do if your house was on fire?
What should I do when “My house is on fire?”
To give you a better feel for this, I just got home from WalMart, yes I can be cheap.
I walked in the garage door, and I smelled a burnt match. I took another breath, and put my bag down and went around my home looking if there was a ‘hot spot.’ I then checked outside. Outside smelled like damp earth – even as dry as it has been here. Grass and earth. Much better than a match smell.
I smelled the air vents as the air conditioner blew needed cool air on this hot September night. I smelled around the dryer, hasn’t been run today, or yesterday.
The only thing which would make sense is someone lighting a matcher outside and it being sucked into my house a few minutes before.
That is scary to me.
A former friend once asked me to burn someone’s house down for him …. murder for him.
I will sleep lightly tonight, would you sleep ‘with one eye open?’
