We have all done it, walked out the door without our room keys.
Well, I didn’t do that one.
But, I did get halfway down the hallway, and I realized I should have double checked for ‘hidden’ fees before I booked this hotel.
OH, YEAH. $40 for breakfast and internet.
Breakfast was good. And it is always nice to have internet.
But, $40 could always be spent somewhere else if you know about that ahead of time.
And they kept telling me last night the only restaurant in the area was their restaurant.
So, I walked down the street and ate Italian.
There I met an aspiring Oracle engineer. I wish him luck. It reminds me of the time when I did not know Oracle. Those were busy days.
The cacophony of many languages keeps me guessing and slightly off balance. Chinese, German (of course), Russian (me), Indonesian, Pakistani, French, and only God can keep track of the other languages floating around me.
