Daily Prompt: Dream Home

Every now and then you need to expand your writing by some of those little games bloggers play.

So, today, I describe my dream home.

Other bloggers posted pictures, but that really does not describe a home, IMHO.

First, I want my wife and kids.

A couple of Siberian Huskies,

a couple of ocelots,

Do NOT be mean to my puppies and kitty cats!

I would like some help on el ranchito.

Then the house begins to become a home.

I would love to be on a lake or other water for a small proa,

kayak, or other fun boats.

And an airstrip for even more fun in the sun:

So, the house would need a barn, a shop, and a hanger, as well as a boat ramp.

Then there is the home.

A double kitchen where the outer kitchen is more like a cafe than a kitchen. With a rounded counter for breakfast beside several expandable dining tables for when everyone shows up for dinner. The inner kitchen is a more professional kitchen.

And of course, Italian wall art.

I would like the entrance to be straddled by two mother-in-law apartments.

Then in the house, I would like the kitchen surrounded by a large dining room and living room. A welcoming open area for guests and family.

On one side of the house would be the owner’s retreat area. And on the other side, the kids retreat area.

What else do I need?
