Why don’t we want peace in Syria?

Have you noticed? Or, is it just me? But, our government and media would rather support terrorists than to support the legitimate government in Syria.

I know, I know, “One man’s terrorist is another man’s ‘freedom fighter.'”

But, honestly?

People are dying.

Now, do not misunderstand me. I am not a supporter of Assad, or the Assad regime.

I just do not see a reason for all these civilians to die. Do you?

What if we ‘partitioned’ Syria? Give Assad and his supporters their coastal area, and the opposition their territory in the interior?

Set two governments. One with a Constitutional Monarchy and Congress and the other with a Parliamentary Democracy?

This is a war of religion. Assad and his supporters are one sect of Islam, and the terrorists are from another sect.

I know, I know, Islam is supposed to be about peace. Again, “One man’s peace, is another man’s war.” You can quote me on that.
