How to use other people’s content

I found a great article How Not to Steal People’s Content on the Web, by Corey Eridon.

They didn’t have a reblog link. So, I will try to condense the subject for you. But, feel free to read his article as well.

Use other people as you do your research.

As I told a group tonight, when you find a great article on a subject you think your readers will enjoy – use the article.

Reblog the article.

Or, do like I did for this article. Write about the same subject as the article. And point a link back to the other article.

You do not have to be an ‘expert.’ It might help you if you are. But, most articles out there can be summarized.

Your readers will enjoy it. There are people who read blogs but do NOT write blogs.

Expand your reach. Use other blogs as you grow your knowledge of a subject, and share what you learn.

What have you learned recently?
