I thought of this song by Doug Stone, ‘Better off in a pine box.’
I don’t know how long it will be on Youtube, but it is here right now, Better off in a pine box.
I don’t know who has the rights, etc.
But, it is a beautiful song which you should download on your iPhone, or iPod.
The author takes us on a mental journey about the pain of a lost love. And he describes how it might be better to die (be in a pine box) and head back to Georgia than to live with her on his mind.
And, I thought of that song as I wrote “I love life.” I have been that heart-broken. I have been there.
And for that brief moment in time, I thought I might be better off in a pine box bound for Texas then to live with her on my mind. And I will write that story some time.
Because the Devil followed me around the world that time. Yes HE DID!!!
But, that is for later, I am still here. I enjoy life, thanks to the Grace of God Himself. And His Son, my Lord.
But, the oxygen still takes these inert elements and makes LIFE happen.
And that is a miracle.
